I've been waiting to find out about that for quite some time.

I've been a season ticket holder for the last few years....since day one at Ralston arena. They haven't sent me anything yet.

My guess is that it will have to wait until after the hockey ticket priority list is done.

My guess is sometime in May.

UNO dropped the price on basketball season tickets this year. My renewal shows upper level seats at $99 for the year. They raised prices to $150 per seat last year. $99 drops the price back down to the Ralston Arena days. This makes sense. It wasn't wise to raise the price in the first place.

Agreed. The upper bowl prices were too high last season.

I guess they thought they would have a much bigger spike in demand with the move to Baxter

That wasn't smart thinking if that's what they thought. They couldn't draw more than 1,500 a game at Baxter...in a 4k arena. So, you move to an arena where supply is almost double...and raise the prices significantly. That's not a great recipe.

UNO basketball has alot of potential as part of the local sports scene. Still, it needs to be an affordable option. I know a few people that are considering jumping in for season tickets now that they are back at $99 a seat. $150 was too much for them.

My tickets showed up today. Nothing but an envelope with the tickets.

I'm assuming there will not be a midnight madness style pre-season event/ticket holder pickup party like last year.

Heck, even in the Ralston Arena years there was a ticketholder pickup party. One year it was at Ralston Arena, another was at Dudley's.

I'm sure this has all gone away due to budget cuts. sigh. But, if absolutely nothing else, I wish I could have at least gotten a schedule poster like every other year.

I feel like this could have been communicated to ticket holders.

It's kind of that D-II mentality within the athletic department that we always talk about.

Nothing makes you feel valued as a season ticket holder like receiving a plain envelope with a pile of tickets in it and nothing else.

I'd guess by lowering the cost on basketball tickets to $99 along with the budget cuts, they've trimmed all of the profits from it and probably can't afford to do anything special for ticket holders anymore.
