Props to UNL and Tim Miles for scheduling UNO at PBA on 11/25. Come on Creighton, time for you to step up as well.

UNL did invited UNO to the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic in November of 2012.
So no shock, here.

Creighton are still pathetic little chickens.

yeah, I'm not sure why anyone is acting like this is a surprise move by UNL. They have already met as D-I foes. I could see this as a regular event. No travel cost. Keep the money in the state.

It is pathetic that CU won't get UNO on the schedule. Especially when CU regularly dips deep into the SWAC and other bad coferences for teams like Savannah St, Mississippi Valley St., UMKC, Alcorn St., Arkansas-Pine Bluff, etc.

They can't argue anything about RPI because UNO might have an RPI better than several teams on CU's schedule on a given year. Last year, UNO finished 205. On their schedule, they had Alcorn (315), umkc (254), Pine Bluff (265), and Chicago St. (260).

So, it's not a matter of RPI.

UNO is a different team now than they were in 2012. As we saw last year they can scare some of the bigger boys. It's more of a risk now when they line up against the Huskers. Everyone expects NU to win, but it is possible UNO could win.
