Just got some details about the upcoming season's radio show.
It will be back at Old Chicago Midtown (78th & Cass) from 6:05 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday nights, beginning Sept. 28 and continuing through at least March 8 (later *when* UNO makes the playoffs!!). No show on Dec. 21 (week of Christmas).
It will again be the dynamic "trio" of Dave Ahlers, Terry Leahy, and Coach Dean Blais.
I'll also throw out there that there is the possibility of doing a video version of the show but underwriters to the tune of $5000 are needed to cover expenses for the season.

How many Mavpuck members are there, particularly the regulars? How close could we be if each member was to donate something in the range of $20 bucks or more(whatever you can afford)? Maybe put up a donation banner link on this site... perhaps a paypal method or something.. get a little effort going on here and see if WE can get it done. I'd love to be able to drop 5,000 but unfortuantely, I don't walk with that kind of jack... but I would love to help.
Then the video side could be "brought to you by MavPuck.Com and it's members"...
We went to a couple of these last year. I found that they need more space for the show and that they need an improved sound system. Both times we were there we had trouble finding a seat in the area where the show is and then it was a struggle to hear the coaches and players.
