Mike Moustakas has been sent for NW Arkansas to Omaha. He's been dominant in AA. Nice to see he goes to Omaha rather than stay in AA then KC in September.
stuck in the middle of Gordon, Kila and Thorman this lineup added about 0.5-1 runs/per game on average. If the pitching stays solid then this team may just have what it needs to pull ahead in the division.
The Royals farm system is just ridiculous right now. Dayton Moore pulls this off, and this team reaches the playoffs by 2015, they'll rename the town after him.
CF Jerrod Dyson is now here (he was supposed to start the year here). He is one of the top-5 fastest players in minor league baseball and the fastest in KC's system. Gil Meche starts rehab assignment on monday.
I like the catcher the Royals got in the Podsednik trade. He's been assigned to Omaha and it sounds like KC thinks he could be the starting catcher in KC eventually.
