I thought someone had run into the side of my house, because of the noise and how it shook. Then I thought it was an M-80 (only 2 weeks until the Fourth of July!). I hadn't thought of a sonic boom...
Used to hear sonic booms a lot when I was growing up on the western edge (109th and Center) of Omaha back in the 60's. But then, the cold war and the Vietnam war were raging back then, back in the old SAC days....
