Hey guys just wanted to put a plug in for a place two good friends of mine opened. They are in the space formerly occupied by Pizza Gourmet off on 120th and Giles. They are between Houston's and Beyond Golf. Good food, nice bar area, and a dog friendly patio. Great place to go before and after Chaser's games. They usually do specials if you bring in your ticket stub.

I play hockey with both. Jeff Evans grew up playing hockey in Omaha, Jim DeRouchey has been playing and coaching for years here. Both are big Mav fans.

No problem.

For Mav Hockey and Jim, I was working/living in Euguene, OR for a couple months in 1996. Two big news events here happened when I was there. UNO announced they were starting hockey. This was early internet days for me. Jim called me and asked if I wanted to get season tickets with him and a couple other of our friends, I said yes and we got our deposits in on the 3rd day you could (he took them right to UNO). The tragic one was I was also there when Brooke Berringer's plane went down. My Dad called and broke the news, I remember almost breaking down at my desk.

One last bonus, I met my wife Jamie on that trip. My friends said I had to go out of state to find someone to marry me. I say that it was a test to my abilities as a recruiter that I brought a new worker to Nebraska at a time of record low unemployment in the state....
