This is a question to assist me in choosing a seat location for the new arena.

As I understand it (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the new arena will have a 'split' bench arrangement - home and penalty boxes on the side with the upper level, across from the club seats and boxes and visitors on the opposite side.

This lay out has me facing conflicting choices when thinking about general seat location.

I've always preferred to sit facing the home team's bench (both teams when configured like we have it today in the Clink). I guess it's the ability to watch the coaches interact with the players and see the line changes setting up.

I also like to sit up higher than the lower bowl - gives me a wider field of the ice, allows greater focus away from the puck.

Thoughts? I'm leaning towards upper bowl on the home team side - having never sat on that side before I'm not sure if I'll be missing the coach/player interaction or line change dynamics ... or the back row of the club seats - if the price isn't too outrageous, and they're high enough to give that good field of view.

"Hoff" is the nickname - "in205" just helps me find my seat
#CallMeMaverick ... but I might not answer
